The Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 requires federal agencies to compile and make available projections of contracting opportunities that small businesses (including minority, women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned) may be able to perform.
These projections, called Long Range Acquisition Forecasts (LRAFs or LRAEs), are previews of potential opportunities before they're officially listed on SAM.gov. This allows small businesses to see what might be coming and plan accordingly.
LRAFs helps agencies plan better and encourages more businesses to compete, benefiting both the government and its partners.
To save you time, Neil and the GovCon Chamber team researched all the 2024 LRAFs and compiled them in a single Master Federal Civilian and Defense Agency List of Long Range Acquisition Forecasts to help you grow your business.
